LUBBOCK -- The Texas A&M women's tennis team will wrap up its regular season against Texas Tech at 5 p.m. Friday at the McLeod Tennis Center in Lubbock.
A&M (14-7, 8-2 Big 12) lost to Texas 5-2 on Wednesday in the Aggies' final home match of the regular season. The loss snapped A&M's four-match winning streak and put the Aggies in third place in the league standings.
A&M seniors Anna Blagodarova and Tiffany Clifford are ranked No. 59 in doubles, while the team of Stephanie Davidson and Morgan Frank are 10-0 in Big 12 matches and are riding an eight-match winning streak overall.
Texas Tech (11-9, 4-5) has lost its last two matches and is tied for fifth in the Big 12 standings with Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
