Texas A&M's Von Miller is among seven finalists announced for the 2009 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year Award.
Oklahoma's Jerry Beal, TCU's Jerry Hughes and Texas' Jeremy Beal also are among those making the cut from 25 for the award named after the three-time Miami All-American and NFL Hall of Famer Ted Hendricks. The other finalists are Brandon Graham of Michigan, Derrick Morgan of Georgia Tech and Greg Romeus of Pittsburgh.
The winner will be announced Tuesday.
Miller, a junior from DeSoto, leads the nation with 17 quarterback sacks. Last year's winner was Texas' Brian Orakpo.
