A&M's Raley semifinalist for Golden Spikes award

Texas A&M sophomore pitcher/outfielder Brooks Raley has been named one of 30 semifinalists for the Golden Spikes Award, given by USA Baseball to the top amateur player in the country.

The All-Big 12 performer is 7-2 as pitcher with a 3.74 ERA. He is batting .315 with 25 stolen bases.

Missouri pitcher Kyle Gibson, Kansas State pitcher A.J. Morris and Oklahoma catcher J.T. Wise are also up for the award.
