STILLWATER, Okla. - Freshman Sarah Zwartynski fired a 1-over-par 73 on Saturday as the 22nd-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team solidified its hold on second place at the Big 12 women's championship at Karsten Creek Golf Club.

The Aggies posted a team score of 304, the second-best score of the day behind No. 9 Oklahoma State's 302 and 11 shots better than any other team in the field. Oklahoma State leads the Aggies by 14 strokes going into Sunday's final round. Missouri is a distant third at 636.

The two-time defending champion, A&M has trailed Oklahoma State going into the final round each of the last two seasons, overcoming a three-shot deficit in 2006 to win by 11 and a four-shot margin last year to win by five.

Zwartynski is in second place individually at 6-over after rounds of 77 and 73. She trails OSU's Jaclyn Sweeney by two shots. A&M sophomore Danielle McVeigh is tied for fourth with scores of 78 and 75.

A&M senior Miranda Orr is tied for 10th, while junior Lauren Johnson and sophomore Ashley Freeman are tied for 20th.
