Aggie men set for Morris Williams Intercollegiate: The No. 20 Texas A&M men's golf team will compete in the Morris Williams Intercollegiate starting on Monday at the University of Texas Golf Club.

Joining the Aggies in the 18-team field are No. 2 Southern California, No. 3 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 15 Texas, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 18 TCU, SMU, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Baylor, Pepperdine, UNLV, BYU, Rice, Air Force, New Mexico State and New Mexico.

First-round play begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the second round at approximately 1 p.m. The Aggies will be paired with UNLV and New Mexico for both rounds. The final round is Tuesday.

SOCCER

A&M, TCU play, raise money for cancer research: The Texas A&M soccer team picked up a 4-1 win over TCU on Sunday in a spring exhibition that helped raise money for cancer research.

Fans donated $292 to Lunch for Life, a program supporting the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation. Those in attendance wore green in honor of Erin Beunger, a member of the Mystic '97 soccer team who is battling cancer.

"This was a good spring exercise for us, but it was really neat to see how many people came out in support of Erin wearing green," A&M head coach G. Guerrieri said. "I know it would mean a lot to her and it means a lot to us to see what the community does for its kids."

TENNIS

A&M men rally past OSU: TULSA, Okla. -- The No. 14 Texas A&M men's tennis team rallied for four singles victories and beat No. 29 Oklahoma State 4-3 on Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The match was originally scheduled for Stillwater, Okla., but was moved due to inclement weather.

It was the first victory over Oklahoma State for third-year A&M coach Steve Denton, and it improved A&M's record to 10-5 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12. OSU fell to 7-5 and 0-2.

The Aggies were swept in doubles but came back strong in singles play. Wil Spencer at the No. 3 line, Alexey Grigorov at No. 4 and Colin Hoover at No. 6 each won to bring A&M back before Austin Krajicek rallied to beat Nathan Byrnes 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 to clinch the team victory.

The Aggies face No. 35 Tulsa at 3 p.m. Wednesday and No. 32 Texas Tech at 6 p.m. Friday. Both matches are at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

TRACK & FIELD

Aggies participate at Arizona State Invitational: TEMPE, Ariz. -- Texas A&M put up impressive sprint times Saturday at the Arizona State Invitational on Joe Selleh Track and Sun Angel Stadium.

A&M's Porscha Lucas turned in the Aggies' top performance with an 11.24-second winning time in the women's 100-meter dash.

Texas A&M got nine victories, six runner-up finishes and eight third-place efforts. The men produced five of the wins, while the women turned in four victories.

There were 24 regional qualifying marks achieved by A&M -- 16 for the women and eight for the men.

In three events the A&M squad recorded a sweep of the top three places -- the women's 100, women's 200 and men's long jump.
