Aggies fall to Georgia in tiebreaker: BISHOP, Ga. -- The Texas A&M equestrian team lost to No. 4 Georgia in a tiebreaker Saturday afternoon in rainy, cold and wet conditions at the UGA Equestrian Center.
The final score was tied at 9, but the Bulldogs held a 50-point edge in raw point total (1364.5-1314.5) to claim the victory.
In the reining discipline, A&M junior Randi Standley locked up MVP honors with a 73.5-72 win over Georgia's Sarah Locker. Also scoring points for the Aggies were Courtney Dawe and Maggie Gratny. In the horsemanship discipline, Carey Nowacek, Katie Lisabeth and Caroline Gunn put A&M on the board with wins. Gunn's 74.5-72 victory over UGA's Sarah Gravely tied her for high-point honors on the western side, while Lisabeth picked up the victory in her first ride of the young season.
The Bulldogs forced the tiebreaker with a 7-3 victory on the hunter seat side. In equitation over fences, sophomore Lia Chafee and junior Brooke Coleman scored points for A&M. In the equitation of the flat discipline, sophomore Elizabeth Solch posted an 80-72 win over Georgia's Daisy Whelan.
The Aggies will host Baylor on Oct. 31 at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

No. 14 Aggies at Nebraska on Sunday: The No. 14 Texas A&M soccer team carries a five-match unbeaten streak to Nebraska on Sunday for its final road game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
The Aggies (10-4-1, 4-1-1 Big 12) sit in third place in the league behind Colorado and Missouri, respectively.
Nebraska (8-3-4, 2-2-2) had a five-game unbeaten streak snapped Friday in a 2-1 loss at Texas. The Huskers fell to seventh place in the conference standings.

SWIMMING & DIVING
Aggie women beat Tigers: COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team notched its second victory in as many days with a 171-129 win over Missouri on Saturday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
The Aggies won 10 of 16 total events Saturday with one relay victory, one diving win and eight individual swimming victories. A&M went 1-2-3-4 in the 200-yard individual medley and took the top two spots in the 100 freestyle, 200 butterfly and 100 backstroke.
A&M senior Julia Wilkinson swam the opening backstroke leg on the winning 200 medley relay team while also winning the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 IM. A&M senior Alia Atkinson swam the breaststroke leg on the winning 200 medley relay while winning the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
A&M also won the Big 12 Relays on Friday.
