A&M beats Harvard: BOSTON -- The Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team won 11 of 13 events, including the first nine, and beat Harvard 131.5-102.5 on Friday at Harvard's Blodgett Pool.

Four Aggies won multiple events with swimmers Nikita Denisyako, Balazs Makany and Omar Enriquez and diver Grant Nel all earning a pair of wins.

Denisyako won the 200-yard individual medley and the 200 backstroke. Makany swept the 100 and 200 freestyles, while Enriquez won the 1,000 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Nel won the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events with NCAA zone qualifier scores in both.

A&M will compete against Boston on Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL

Aggies fall to Nebraska: LINCOLN, Neb. -- Texas A&M dropped its fourth straight match Friday, this time losing to No. 9 Nebraska 29-27, 25-17, 25-15 at Nebraska Coliseum.

A&M (14-10, 7-9 Big 12) and NU played through 19 ties and seven lead changes in Game 1 with neither team leading by more than two points. A&M fought off three game points before NU (19-6, 12-4) won.

A&M will face Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Wednesday at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla.
