Texas A&M junior Julia Wilkinson was named the Aggies' Most Valuable Swimmer at the A&M women's swimming and diving team awards banquet Saturday at the College Station Hilton.

Wilkinson won the Big 12 Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championships as well as the Big 12's Swimmer of the Year award.

Junior Kristen Heiss was named the Bob Stallings Aggie Heart Award winner.

Sophomore Ella Doerge and freshman Maria Sommer each earned the Most Improved Award, while senior co-captain Beth McCullough earned the Iron Woman Award.
