Aggie women to host Notre Dame

The Texas A&M women's tennis team begins a three-match homestand at 1:30 p.m. Saturday against No. 24 Notre Dame at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

A&M (8-4) opened Big 12 play with back-to-back victories at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma last weekend. Notre Dame (10-7) boasts the No. 1-ranked doubles team in the nation and is riding a three-match winning streak after blanking Western Michigan 7-0 on March 14.

The match will wrap up A&M's nonconference schedule. The Aggies return to Big 12 play at 5 p.m. Friday against Nebraska on "Dollar Day" at the Mitchell Tennis Center. Popcorn and drinks will be sold for $1 each.

Aggie men move up Tech match due to weather: LUBBOCK -- Texas A&M's men's tennis match against Texas Tech was moved to 4 p.m. Saturday due to weather concerns.

The match, A&M's Big 12 season opener, was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Aggies (9-5) are coming off a 5-2 victory over Louisville on Thursday, while the Red Raiders (15-2) reached the final of the Blue-Gray Tennis Classic in their most recent action.
