Alyssa Mautz and Bri Young scored second-half goals to help 16th-ranked Texas A&M beat Kansas 4-3 in front of 2,606 at the Aggie Soccer Stadium on Friday.
Up 2-1 at halftime, A&M (7-4, 2-1 Big 12) took a two-goal lead in the 52nd minute when Young scored on a header off a corner kick from Rachel Shipley. Kansas (8-3-1, 0-2) cut A&M's lead to 3-2 just 2 minutes later on Shelby Williamson's fifth goal of the season, but Mautz gave the Aggies another two-goal cushion when she scored on another header off a Shipley corner kick in the 64th minute.
Caitlin Noble added a late goal for Kansas.
Shipley and Katie Hamilton scored goals for A&M in the first half.
The Aggies will host Missouri at 4 p.m. Sunday.
