BIG 12 WOMEN: UT whips Baylor

WACO -- Cokie Reed scored 18 points and No. 18 Texas held Baylor to only two field goals in the second half, cruising to a 70-54 victory over the No. 14 Bears on Sunday.

Baylor was playing without 6-foot-8 freshman star Brittney Griner, who was suspended for two games by coach Kim Mulkey after throwing a punch at Texas Tech's Jordan Barncastle during a win in Lubbock on Wednesday night.

Brittainey Raven added 16 points and Kathleen Nash had 12 for the Longhorns (21-9, 10-6), who didn't allow a second-half field goal by Baylor until there was 4:44 left. Erika Arriaran added 10 points and Ashley Gayle had 11 rebounds for Texas.

Kimetria Hayden scored 14 points to lead Baylor (22-8, 9-7), while Kelli Griffin had 10 points and Morghan Medlock had 12 rebounds.

No. 11 Oklahoma 95, No. 20 Oklahoma St. 62: NORMAN, Okla. -- Amanda Thompson scored a career-high 29 points and teamed with Jasmine Hartman to help Oklahoma set a school record with 16 3-pointers.

Thompson and Hartman each made four 3s for the first time in their careers as Oklahoma (21-9, 11-5) rolled to the third seed and a first-round bye at next week's Big 12 tournament

Andrea Riley, the nation's No. 3 scorer, led Oklahoma State (21-9, 9-7) with 25 points.

Missouri 58, Texas Tech 55, OT: COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Jessra Johnson scored 18 points as Missouri gave coach Cindy Stein her 250th career victory.

The Tigers (12-17, 2-14) outscored the Lady Raiders (17-13, 5-11) 11-8 in overtime.

Johnson also recorded seven rebounds, four blocks, three assists and three steals. Christine Flores scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while RaeShara Brown had nine points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals.
