SAN ANTONIO -- Bryan Harvey's Major Girls ended their season with a 6-4 loss to Texas West at the Southwest Regional on Wednesday.

Hilary Hoffman had two hits and a run, while Brittney Jones, Brianna Holtkamp, Kristen Danford, Haley Parrish and MaryFrances Fazzino each had a hit. Danford's and Parrish's hits were doubles. Hoffman, Holtkamp and Parrish each scored a run. Jones, Danford and Fazzino each had an RBI. Erica Russell had a walk and a run, while Haley Parker had a walk and an RBI.

Jones threw a complete game, striking out two with one walk. She allowed 10 hits.

Harvey was one of three teams left at the regional and one of the final 12 teams left in the world, getting to within two games of reaching the World Series. Harvey went 12-2 this summer and won district, sectional and state Little League titles.
