IRVING --Texas A&M shortstop Jose Duran was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week by a select media panel, the league office announced Monday.

Duran, a junior, hit a team-high .421 in four road games last week with a home run, eight RBIs and six runs scored. He put up a team-best .542 on-base percentage, hit safely in all four contests and racked up three multi-hit games.

Missouri's Kyle Gibson was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.
