Texas A&M's Megan Gibson was named the Big 12's pitcher of the week for the fifth time this season, the league office announced Tuesday.

Gibson earned three victories last week, throwing a six-inning one-hitter against Baylor and striking out 20 over 14 innings in two wins over Missouri.

Missouri's Jen Bruck was named the Big 12's player of the week, going 6 for 12 over four games last week.
