Bryan sweeps Shoemaker: The Bryan Lady Vikings (14-13) beat Killeen Shoemaker 25-6, 25-7, 25-16 on Friday to improve to 4-1 in District 12-5A play.
Tiffany Regmund led the Vikings with 10 kills and nine digs. Kaylee Piatt and Reagan Boenker had eight kills each. Piatt also had 29 assists, 11 digs and three aces while Boenker added four aces. Taylor Boenker had seven kills, Jordan Cumpton had 12 digs and Jacqueline Dusek served five aces.
Bryan travels to Temple on Tuesday.

Consol remains unbeated in district: TEMPLE -- The A&M Consolidated Lady Tigers beat Temple 25-7, 25-15, 25-15 in District 12-5A action Friday.
Erika Arthur led the Tigers (22-7, 5-0) with 10 kills, five aces and five blocks. Kelsey Kinley had 16 digs and Bailey Gillum dished out 20 assists.
The Consol JV won 25-7, 25-8, the freshman A team won 25-17, 23-25, 25-7 and the freshman B team won 28-26, 25-14.
Consol hosts Harker Heights on Tuesday.

Rudder beats Navasota: NAVASOTA -- The Rudder volleyball team dropped its first set, but came back for a 21-25, 25-11, 25-19, 25-13 victory over Navasota in District 24-3A action Friday.
Taylor Schwartz and Hailey Bagley each recorded nine kills for Rudder (19-7, 3-1). Schwartz also had 14 digs. Sara Deleon had 16 digs, three aces and 15 assists. Ashley Atkins added six kills and served three aces and Brooke Engel had two aces and led the team with 21 digs.
The Rudder JV won 25-13, 25-22 and the Rudder freshman won 25-12, 22-25, 25-18.
Rudder hosts Cameron on Tuesday.
