Bryan drops district opener: The Bryan Viking tennis team lost its District 12-5A opener Friday at Harker Heights, 16-3.
Bryan players recording victories were seniors AshLee Bilbo (No. 1 girls singles) and Shaun Palmer (No. 1 boys singles). The No. 1 doubles team of senior Katy Lutz and junior Kayla Siegert also won.
The Vikings return to action Tuesday against Shoemaker at the BHS courts. They'll also face Copperas cove at home on Friday, and the Viking Tennis Wall of Honor will be dedicated during the match.
