Bryan West wins in pool play: Bryan West beat College Station American 15-4 in 11- and 12-year-old Little League District 33 pool play Thursday night.
West's Kevin Perez picked up the win, pitching a complete game with 7 strikeouts.
Alex Castaneda hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth for West. Teammate Tutti Zamora was 4 for 4, while Albert Zamora went 3 for 4 and Frankie Franco was 2 for 3.
Harvey Blue stays perfect in pool play: The Harvey Blue Little League team won for the second time in as many days as it defeated Bryan East 17-3 in four innings Thursday night in District 33 pool play.
Harvey scored 10 runs in the first inning, giving Paden Sisco all the support he'd need. Sisco pitched 3 2/3 innings, giving up just two singles and was 3 for 4 at the plate.
Luke Piper was 3 for 3 with a home run and three runs scored for Harvey. Teammate Christian Urquhart went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and Chad Ogden scored two runs.
Bryan North downs Bonham in pool play: Bryan North won a day after having its first game suspended due to rain, beating Bryan Bonham 17-4 in four innings Thursday night in 11- and 12-year-old Little League District 33 pool play.
North's Kenneth Robertson went 2 for 2 with two home runs, a walk, 5 RBIs, and three runs scored. Teammate Will Reber was 3 for 4 with three runs scored, while Brandon Norris went 3 for 4 with three runs scored and 4 RBIs.
Logan Pottberg picked up the win, combining with David Rivera to pitch four innings. The pair combined to strike out 9 of the 12 outs for North in the game as Pottberg picked up 4 strikeouts and Rivera had 5.
North will finish its suspended game against College Station American from Wednesday night, starting at 6 p.m. Friday at Bryan North Ballpark. Bryan West and Bryan Bonham will play their postponed Wednesday game at 6 p.m. Friday at a second field at North.
Bryan West beats North: David Contreras pitched Bryan West to a 9-6 victory over Bryan North in the Senior Little League District 33 tournament Thursday night.
West advances to face College Station National Friday at 8 p.m.
