Texas A&M senior outside hitters Sarah Ammerman and Jennifer Banse were named to the All-Big 12 volleyball first team, and Aggie middle blocker Lindsey Miller was selected to the All-Freshman team Monday.
Ammerman is on the first team for the first time, having received honorable mention as a junior. She is second in the league with 4.23 kills per set and third in points with a 4.64 average in all matches.
Banse, also making her first appearance on the All-Big 12 team, ranked second on the team and eighth in the Big 12 for both kills and digs per set with 3.27 and 3.66, respectively.
Miller is A&M's first representative on the All-Freshman team, which began in 2007. She leads A&M starters with 0.84 blocks per set and is second on the team and ninth in the Big 12 with a .303 hitting percentage.
A&M (18-10) faces Arizona at 5 p.m. Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, La.
