A&M professor to discuss his book
Texas A&M assistant history professor Jason Parker will discuss his new book, Brother's Keeper: The United States, Race and Empire in the British Caribbean, during a lecture Thursday.
Parker is speaking as part of the "Meet the Author" lecture series at the Scowcroft Institute. He will talk at 5:30 p.m. in Room 1107 of the Allen Building on the Texas A&M campus.
The author specializes in American foreign relations and the modern United States. His book examines the process of decolonization in developing countries from the 1930s to the Cold War.
