A&M System's role is topic of lecture
Texas A&M System Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Frank Ashley III will discuss his role with the university system next month as part of the First Friday Lecture Series.
Ashley, who has worked for A&M for more than two decades, is scheduled to speak at noon May 2 in Room 111 of the Koldus Building on the A&M campus. He will talk about the coordination of academic and student affairs development, implementation and accountability -- including performance-based funding.
The lecture series is offered by the African American Professional Organization the first Friday of the month. It is sponsored by the division of research and graduate studies.
Lunch will be provided at 11:45 a.m. to those who register at http://rgs.tamu.edu/events.
