Texas A&M ranks ninth on a list of the nation's "best value" public colleges in 2010, according to ratings by The Princeton Review.
Selection criteria included more than 30 factors in academics, costs and financial aid.
Full-time resident undergraduate students at Texas A&M pay about $4,330 per semester in tuition, mandatory fees and average course fees.
"We are obviously pleased -- but certainly not surprised -- that Texas A&M ranks high in The Princeton Review ratings," said Texas A&M Interim President R. Bowen Loftin in a news release. "It is most gratifying to once again have our 'best value' assessment confirmed nationally."
The survey, conducted with USA Today, listed the top 50 public and private colleges, but only the top 10 in each category were ranked. The only other Texas institution on the list was Rice University, which placed 7th among private schools.
