A&M's golf course ranked 3rd by paper

The Texas A&M golf course was recently ranked third in Texas for economy golf courses by The Dallas Morning News.

The 58-year-old course, open to the public and students, improved from its 15th position on the list last year.

"We realize that golf is a fun sport for our students and the public, and we do everything we can to provide a safe and well-maintained course," golf course manager Mark Haven said.

Oak Ridge Country Club in Madisonville was ranked 15th in the newspaper's top 25 picks for nine-hole courses.

Comment Title:
Regretfully the green fees and cart rental fees will increase shortly, but that's inflation. Still the best deals around for annual memberships.
