Lt. Gen. John F. Mulholland Jr., commanding general for U.S. Army Special Operations Command, is expected to speak at Texas A&M this month.
The Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service is presenting the Sept. 13 program as part of the William and Dianne Moss-Scowcroft Lecture Series. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center at the George Bush Presidential Library Center.

Two years ago this November, Mulholland assumed command of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and prior to that he was commanding general of Special Operations Command Central at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
The decorated officer graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., in 1978, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the infantry. He earned a master's degree in history while attending the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
Organizers said that the William and Dianne Moss-Scowcroft Lecture Series brings high-profile practitioners and experts in the field of international affairs to the Bush Library.
