Author to discuss careers during Texas A&M forum
Students on the verge of exiting the college bubble and launching their careers have an opportunity to have crucial questions answered about the real world.
Nancy Barry, author of When Reality Hits (Brown Books, $20), will speak at the Mays Business School Auditorium on the Texas A&M University campus at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday about skills that will be important early in their careers.
Barry said her focus will be to explain "what managers want them to know and don't have time to tell them."
Barry, who is a motivational speaker and author, was invited to speak by Phi Beta Lambda, Texas A&M's business leadership fraternity.
