The Texas A&M University College of Architecture is organizing two energy management workshops for city, county and school district officials.
The half-day workshops are designed to help officials develop energy management plans, meet outlined goals and learn more about available resources and funding sources.
The meetings are sponsored by the State Energy Conservation Office and the Rebuild America Rural Community Building Initiative.
The workshops will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 29 and Sept. 26 in Student Center Banquet Room 105 on the Blinn College Bryan campus.
The cost is $20 for the workshops, which will be taught by faculty from the College of Architecture.
