An eight-person committee will search for Texas A&M's next senior vice president for administration, officials said Friday.
Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin announced last week the creation of the position, which will be a senior adviser to the president who will also oversee non-academic operations such as the facilities division.
Jeffrey Seemann, the vice president for research, will chair the committee.
The other committee members are: Michele Breaux, from student government; Ron Carter, University Staff Council; Clint Magill, Faculty Senate; Silvester Mata, Graduate Student Council; Richard Mercier, Council of Principal Investigators; David Parrott, executive associate vice president for student affairs; and Jorge Vanegas, dean of the College of Architecture.
