Batson-Gongora, Jr. Wedding

Brooke Ashley Batson and Luis Aldo Gongora, Jr. were united in marriage on September 5, 2009 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  The ceremony was performed by Pastor Bruce Wood. 

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless fitted bodice Cinderella style gown with a full skirt of tulle and scattered crystals.  The bride is the daughter of Billy and Mary Ann Batson of College Station, TX.  The groom is the son of Luis and Criselda Gongora, Sr. of Bryan, TX.

Serving as co-maids of honor was the bride's sister, Christie Batson-Heaston of Las Vegas, NV., and friend of the bride, Jinny Sarvis Jenkins of Temple, TX. Bridesmaids were Kim Crane, friend of the bride, of Bryan, Ayme Rodgriguez and Deborah Hernandez, sisters of the groom, both of Bryan, TX.  Flower girl was 7 year old Viviana Zavala Gongora, daughter of the groom.

Serving as co-best men were friends of the groom, Victor Valdez, of Bryan TX and Ken Hardy, of Caldwell Tx. Groomsmen were Brandon Balcar, of Deanville TX,  Tony Rodriguez and Billy Hernandez, brothers-in-law of the groom, both of Bryan, TX.  Ring bearer was 7 year old Caden Batson, son of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Kurten Community Center in Kurten,TX.  The couple reside in Bryan, TX.
