Lisa Cangelosi and Joe Brown, both of College Station, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008 in Prosper, Texas. Pastor Jerald Brown, father of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Cangelosi of Brenham and Patrick and Sue Cangelosi of Prosper. She is the granddaughter of Lucille Cangelosi of Bryan, the late Jake Cangelosi and the late Bruno and Janie Gorzycki.
The groom is the son of Jerald and Cindia Brown of Bedias. He is the grandson of the late J.P. and Artie Brown and the late Eargle and Lillian McDougald.
Serving as maid of honor was Janie Cangelosi of Brenham, niece of the bride. Maidens were Miriam Cangelosi, Sally Cangelosi and Annie Cangelosi, all of Brenham and nieces of the bride. Anna Barnett and Abby Barnett, both of The Woodlands and nieces of the groom, served as flowergirl and ringbearer.
Kent Brown of Bedias, Texas, nephew of the groom served as best man.
The bride is a graduate of The University of Texas and is an independent spokesperson and actor. The groom is a graduate of Texas State University and is a News Anchor for KBTX Media in Bryan.
