Ashley Renee' Coonse and SPC Thomas Patrick Baca II tied the knot on August 8, 2009. The outdoor wedding was at the home of bride’s parent’s in College Station, TX.
The ceremony was performed by the groom's uncle, Full Bird Colonel George Featherston Jr. of Seguin, TX.
The bride escorted by her father, wore a destination style Galina Signature Gown.
The bride is the daughter of David and Krissa Coonse of College Station, TX. She is the granddaughter of Kaylor and Judy Coonse of Brenham, TX and Joel and Donna Jolly of Navasota, TX and the late Evelyn Jolly of Bryan, TX.
The groom is the son of June Baca of College Station, TX., and Pat Baca of Bedias, TX. He is the grandson of the late Raymond and Doris Fuqua Baca of Navasota, TX and the late George and Bell Featherston Sr. of College Station, TX.
SPC Wayne Michael Serge of Colebrook, CT, Patrick’s battle buddy in Afghanistan served as best man. Ring guard was Quinton David Coonse-Lyne of College Station, TX, son of the bride.
Following the ceremony a dinner reception was held poolside at the home of the bride’s parents in College Station, TX.
After a honeymoon in Port Aransas, TX, Ashley will reside in College Station, TX, while Patrick will be continuing his tour in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division.
