Chanae is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hilda Weeber and the late Mr. Oscar Weeber of Caldwell and Mrs. Joann Gilland of Hammond, Louisiana and Mr. Jimmy Gilland of Gainesville, Florida. Gatlin is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kling of College Station and Mrs. Gertrude Shelfer and the late Mr. Tony Bohack of Bryan.

Chanae and Gatlin are both graduates of Brazos Christian School and are currently students at Texas A&M University. Chanae will graduate in December 2008 with a degree in Exercise Science and will pursue a career in physical therapy. Chanae is currently employed at Thunder Elite Cheerleading Gymnastics & Dance. Gatlin will graduate in December 2008 with a degree in Economics and Business. Gatlin works for his family business, Kling Engineering & Surveying. Upon graduation. Gatlin will pursue a law degree.

The wedding will take place August 9, 2008 at Central Baptist Church in College Station.
