Heap-Lemons Wedding

Heap-Lemons

Andrea Suzanne Heap and Cody Mark Lemons, both of Ft. Worth, were united in marriage on Sunday, May 23, 2010 by the Rev. Randy Dicken.  The wedding and reception took place at Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose, Texas.  

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory silk gown designed by Bellissima Couture.  The bride carried a bouquet of peonies, roses, freesia, hydrengea and sweet peas. Ms. Rachel Heap delivered the reading and Forte Strings quartet provided the music for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Marsha Heap of College Station, Texas.  She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. James L. Massey, of Beaumont, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. William O. Heap, of Tulsa OK.

The groom is the son of Rickey and Lana Lemons of Midland, Texas.  Cody is the grandson of Mrs. Billie Lemons and the late Mr. L.T. “Short” Lemons of Morton, Texas and Mrs. Mary Smith Chapman and the late Mr. Bill Smith and Mr. Chap Chapman of Lubbock, Texas.

 

Ms. Rachel Heap, sister of the bride, of Houston, Texas also served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kari Bielamowicz, of Pearland, Texas and Dr. Ruby Lee, of Baltimore, MD.  The flower girl was the groom's daughter, Miss Aubrey Lemons, of Ft. Worth Texas.

Mr. Jeremy Peterson, of Plano, Texas served as Best Man.  The groomsmen included the brother of the groom, Dr. Chris Lemons, of Pittsburgh, PA and Mr. James Evans, of College Station, Texas.  The ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Master Colton Lewis of Houston, Texas.

Ushers included Mr. Aaron Meier of Pittsburgh, PA and Mr. Chris Lewis, of Houston.

The bride and groom are both nuclear engineering graduates of Texas A&M University and are currently employed with Luminant Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Glen Rose, Texas. The bride is a Staff Engineer and the groom is a Principal Nuclear Technologist.

   

Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Ft. Worth, Texas.
