Lindsay Leigh Hollis and Jimmy “Tom” Aly were united in marriage on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station, Texas, with Rev. Jimmy Sanders of Gause, Texas and Rev. Vicki Averitt of College Station, Texas officiating. Parents of the bride are James and Carol Hollis of College Station. Parents of the groom are Joe and Trena Aly of Comanche, Texas.
The Maid of Honor was Erica Rasco, friend of bride, of Houston, Texas; The Matron of Honor was Kerry Silvey, friend of the bride, of Gause. The bridesmaids were Tessa Barnett of Dallas, Ashlee Hollis of Caldwell, Texas, Lindsey Vybiral of Bryan, Kellye Koonce of Matagorda, Texas, Courtney Jones of College Station, Texas and Amber Griswold, sister of the groom, of Marion, Ark. The flower girls were Gracie and Katie Walker, cousins of the bride, of Mansfield, Texas, and Malyn and Blane Simmons, cousins of the bride, of Missouri City, Texas.
The Best Man was Levi Boehme of Granbury, Texas. Groomsmen were Joe Aly, brother of the groom, of Caldwell, Jerame Aly, brother of the groom, of Granbury, Texas, Jordan Hollis, brother of the bride, of College Station, Kalob McAllister of Caldwell, Brandon Charanza of Bryan, Tim Walkoviak of Caldwell and Gus Horne of College Station. Ushers were Chris Cangelose, cousin of the bride, of Stillwater, OK., Michael Cangelose, cousin of the bride, of Scottsdale, Az., Justin Hollis, cousin of the bride, of Caldwell, in the Marines, stationed in San Diego, Calif., Lance Garbs, Geoff Johnson and Cody Praesel, all of Caldwell. Ringbearers were Jace Aly, nephew of the groom, of Caldwell and Taylor Shear of Hearne, Texas.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Brazos County Exposition Complex in Bryan.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station with a degree in Science in Health and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with a Bachelors Nursing degree. She is employed as a registered Nurse at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Caldwell High School and is employed with Sheridan Production Company in Caldwell.
After a honeymoon trip to Cozumel Mexico, the couple resides in College Station.
