Kennedy-Allphin Engagement

Kenneth and Rachel Scholz of Bryan are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, April Anne Kennedy, to Daryl Wayne Allphin, son of Don and Janet Allphin of Bellville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sally Breen and Keith Williams of Windham, Maine, and Harold and Sheryl Hogue of Tyler, Texas.  The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Lee and Faye Allphin and Roy Allison of Bellville, formerly of College Station, and the late Mildred Allison.

April graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1999 and from Sam Houston State University in 2008 after majoring in Criminal Justice.  She is currently employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Daryl graduated from Bellville High School in 2001 and from Sam Houston State University in 2008 after majoring in Criminal Justice.  He is currently employed as a police officer with Sam Houston State University Police Department.

The wedding will take place on April 25, 2009 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bryan.
