Mike and Jan Laine of College Station are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Marie Laine, to Brandon Scott Sears, son of Stacy and LeeAnn Sears of Mount Vernon, Texas.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carter of West, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. S.F. Sanders of College Station. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sears of Mount Vernon, Texas, Joe-Ann Martin of Dallas, Texas and Michael Cowart of San Antonio, Texas.
Sara is a 2004 graduate of Bryan High School and a 2009 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She will be teaching third grade in Mount Vernon ISD.
Brandon is a 2004 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University in December 2007. He currently works at Guaranty Bond Bank in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The wedding will take place on July 4, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas.
