Courtney is the granddaughter of Odelia Walker and the late J. C. Walker of Montague, Texas, and Mabel Major of Fredericksburg, Texas, formerly of Nocona, Texas, and the late Dr. David Major of Nocona, Texas.

Mark is the grandson of Jeanne Stillfield of Yerington, Nevada, and Wilson Thomas of Benton, Arkansas, and Frank and Barbara Dodge of Missoula, Montana.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Midland High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 2007. She was also a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is currently working for Razor Advertising Group in Dallas, Texas.

The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Yerington High School. He then served four years in the United Stated Army and was a member of the Honor Guard. He received a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Leadership from Texas A&M University in December 2007. He was also an accomplished linebacker for the Texas A&M football team. He is currently working for Trinity Industries in Dallas, Texas.

The couple will marry August 1, 2008 in Grapevine, Texas and will reside in Dallas.
