Noble-Kirk Wedding

Alana Kaye Noble and Nicolas Kovar Kirk were united in marriage Saturday morning, March 21, 2009, at the historic Old School in Austin, Texas. The bride's grandfather, John Killgore, performed the ceremony. A reception brunch, hosted by the couple, followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Karan Killgore of Rosebud and Dave Noble of Rockport. She is the granddaughter of Martha Killgore-Bray and the late Woodson Bray of Chilton, John and Barbara Killgore of Rosebud, and Evelyn Noble and the late E.B. Noble of Dimmitt.

The groom is the son of Jack and Cindy Kirk of Snook. He is the grandson of Edwin and Ruth Kovar of Snook and the late Tommy and Beatrice Kirk of Cameron.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a floor length, satin georgette dress with chapel train by Nicole Miller.

Amanda Noble of Rosebud, sister of the bride, and friend Kim Hicks of Austin served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate McFarland-Wiggers of Winston-Salem, NC and Jennifer Arce of Austin.

Jess Junek of Bryan was the best man. Groom's attendants were Matt Miller of Austin, Erika Kirk, sister of the groom, of Snook and Casey Lunday of Austin.

Paris Gilbert, the bride's niece, of Round Rock was the flower girl. Keller Gilbert, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.  Ushers were Elizabeth Brooks, Amanda Boswell and Lauren Gutierrez of Austin.

Processional music was “La Vie en Rose” by Louis Armstrong. The bride's sister Amanda Noble, flutist, provided the recessional music.  

The bride is a graduate of Coronado High School in Lubbock. She received a Bachelor's degree in Plan II Honors and Linguistics from The University of Texas, Austin. The groom is a graduate of Snook High School in Snook and received his Bachelor's degree in Radio Television and Film from The University of Texas, Austin.    

Following a honeymoon trip to Fredricksburg, the couple will reside in Austin.
