James and Barbara Palasota of Bryan, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Ann Palasota, to Christopher Michael Gilbert, son of Nancy Gilbert and the late Tom Gilbert of Arlington, Texas.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Floyd and Eleonora J. Okonski and the late Pete and Natalie Palasota. Melissa is a 1994 graduate of Bryan High School and a 1999 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. Melissa is currently a pediatric dental hygienist in Plano, Texas.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Cleone Peet and the late Alvah Peet of Arlington, Texas, and the late Bill and Shirley Gilbert. Chris is a 1992 graduate of Martin High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Chris is currently a software developer in Fort Worth, Texas.
The wedding will take place on April 24, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas.
