Anthony and Nancy (Rogers) Birnbaum of College Station and Mark Rogers of Albuquerque, New Mexico are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Evelyn Rogers of Temple, to Glen Eric Melin of Corpus Christi. He is the son of USMC Maj. Ret. Glen and Jill Melin of Flower Bluff, Texas.
The bride elect is a 2005 graduate of A&M Consolidated High School and 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is employed as an RN at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Flower Bluff High School, and a pending graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi followed by commissioning as 2nd Lt. in the US Army, December 2010.
The wedding is planned for December 19, 2010, at 5 p.m., at the Arts Center in Corpus Christi.
