Rosser 50th Anniversary

Terry N. Rosser and Myrna L. Black were married January 25, 1959 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Bryan, Texas. They have three daughters: Tenise and husband, Navy Captain Jim Pettigrew of Memphis, Tennessee; Terrell and husband, Victor Johnson of Bryan; and Tara, and husband, Scott Surface of Ft. Worth, Texas. Their four grandchildren are Joel Pettigrew, Kelly Johnson and Ricky and Michael Surface.

Terry retired as a Regular Army Colonel with 26 years of Service and three combat tours. He then taught Communications at Blinn College. Myrna worked at the College of Medicine, TAMU, and Bryan Municipal Court. Both retired in 2000.

The couple will celebrate their anniversary at a reception being given by their children at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station the afternoon of January 25, 2009.
