Schleider-Varisco Wedding

Callie Cummings Schleider and Tony Varisco, IV were united in marriage on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at six o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas. Dr. Timothy Owens officiated the ceremony, with a special wedding message from the father of the bride. Music for the ceremony was provided by Ben Welch, pianist and vocalist; Janis Wiman, organist; and Cathleen Clough, vocalist. Scripture was read by Michelle Olsta, friend of the bride and groom. Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at The Hilton, with music provided by The Dave Alexander Band.

   

Callie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schleider, III of College Station. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Cummings of College Station and Mrs. Ann Schleider and the late Mr. Robert Schleider, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Tony is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Varisco, III of Bryan, Texas. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Varisco, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Lancaster of Bryan, and the late Dr. Richard Poss of Goldthwaite, Texas.

    Matrons of Honor were Staci Woods Cocanougher of Dallas and Allison Broach Polka of Houston, and Maid of Honor was Brynn Hefner of Dallas, all childhood friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lorin Catalena of College Station, Susan Miller Cheyne of Keller, Jacqueline Parker of Dallas, Katie Schleider of Frisco, Libby Schleider of Columbia, Missouri, Kelly Richardson Smith of Washington, D.C., Anne Varisco of College Station, and Lauren Ware of Houston.  The flower girl was Kate Catalena, niece of the groom. The house party included friends and cousins of the bride, Courtney Adams of Plano, Angela Milburn Erwin of Monroe, Louisiana, Angela Schleider Kennedy of Frisco, Corey Martindale of Dallas, and Christina Schleider of Oklahoma City.

 

The Honorary Best Man was the father of the groom, Tony Varisco, III.  Groomsmen were Cody Catalena of College Station, John Olsta of College Station, Dax Sanders of Houston, Robby Schleider of Frisco, Stuart Sharp of Bryan, Jason Sweeney of Houston, Brazos Varisco of Houston, and Scott Williams of Fairway, Kansas. The ring bearer was Cole Catalena, nephew of the groom. Ushers escorting the guests included cousins of the groom, Austin Varisco, Tyler Varisco, Garrett Wentrcek, and Wyatt Wentrcek.

   

Callie is a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She is the Business Career Coordinator for the Texas A&M Career Center. Tony is a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. He is a mortgage loan officer for Laraby Financial Group.

 After a honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in College Station, Texas.
