Richard Douglas Slack and Charlotte Beard Slack celebrate 45 years of marriage on August 29, 2010. They were married in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and have lived in College Station for 37 years. Doug is a Professor in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, and Charlotte is a retired teacher and now a consultant at the University Writing Center. They have two daughters, Kathy and Chris Noack and grandsons, Andrew and Steven, of Austin. Sandy and Eric Glover and grandsons, Teddy and Henry of Guilford, CT. The entire family celebrated the anniversary with a trip to Disney World in March.
