Paige Leigh Smith and Dr. Andrew Arthur Martin of Little Rock, Arkansas, were united in marriage Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Garvan Woodland Gardens Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs, Arkansas with Mike High officiating.
Parents of the bride are Larry and Carolyn Smith of Plano, Texas. Parents of the groom are Fred Martin of Bryan and the late Pat Martin.
Maid of honor was Laurie Trull, of Dallas. Attendants were Melanie Glover, of Little Rock, Ark., Ashley Finton, of Maumelle, Ark., Allison Martin, sister of the groom, of Dallas, Shannon Yates and Heather Johnson, both of Little Rock. The flower girls were Emma Stutts, cousin of the bride, of Bonita, La., Ava Smith, of Little Rock, and Tess Finton, of Maumell, Ark.
The best man was Fred Martin, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Martin, brother of the groom, of Branson, Mo., Matt Martin, cousin of the groom, of Houston, Blaine Smith, brother of the bride, of Plano, Texas, Calvin Callaway, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Andrew Graesser, of Katy, Texas. Ushers were Nathan Rylander, of Austin, Texas and Lee Droemer, of Nashville, Tenn. The ring bearer was Tucker Stutts, cousin of the bride, of Bonita, La.
Paige is a 2001 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy. She is currently employed as a pediatric occupational therapist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Andrew is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology. In 2006 he received his Doctor of Medicine at UTMB in Galveston, and did his Pediatrics residency at UAMS. Andrew is currently a Pediatrician in the Emergency Room at Arkansas Children's Hospital and will be starting his fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at UCSD in San Diego, Calif. in July.
