Drs. John and Nancy Welch are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Audrey Britton Welch, to Charles Glen Tate, son of Albert and Roxy Tate of Sugarland, and Paula and Dave Crowe of Brackettville.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Crist of Houston; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fielder of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Welch of La Grange. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Harold White of Brackettville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Neal Tate of Pasadena.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of A&M Consolidated High School and completed a two year artist’s apprenticeship in 2005. The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Pasadena High School, attended the Sam Houston State University School of Music, and is an independent musician and songwriter.
Audrey and Glen will be married on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Astin Mansion in Bryan, Texas.
