Miss Kristina Kay Pontious and Mr. Jonathan David Mobley were joyfully united in marriage on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at six o'clock in the evening at The Brookwood Community Chapel in Brookshire, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Senior Pastor Jim Leggett of Grace Fellowship United Methodist Church. The bride's parents hosted a reception at The Brookwood Community Garden Ballroom. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Salt and Pepper Restaurant in Katy, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven B. Pontious of Katy, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Forrest K. Pontious and the late Mrs. Alverna Pontious of Argonia, Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth Blalock Humphrey and the late Mr. Mabern D. Humphrey, Jr. of College Station, formerly of Harleton, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Mobley of Lockhart, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Luper of Richland Hills, Texas, and of the late Reverend and Mrs. J.W. Mobley of Beaumont, Texas.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an exquisite gown of Torina taffeta by Barcelona designer Pronovias. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of sage hydrangea, white peony, white iris, Eskimo roses, and classic mums that was wrapped with lace and applique from her mother's wedding veil. Her great-grandmother's wedding bands were attached with a single ribbon.

Serving as the Maid of Honor was Miss Colby Cordray. Bridesmaids were Maria Calado, Amanda Caldwell, Jennifer McCatharn, Kari Pinke and Megan Mobley Taylor, sister of the groom. Lauren Humphrey, cousin of the bride, and Cayleigh Taylor, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. House Party members included Christina Goodwin, Whitney Humphrey, cousin of the bride, Lauren Neu and Macy Sikes.

Serving as the Best Man was Clay Taylor, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Hill, Tyler Hill, Stoney McCrary, Brandon Nance and Rich Pontious, brother of the bride. Ushers were Brady Beal, Dusty Pittman and Michael Pittman.

Kristina is a 2007 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in May 2012 with her Bachelor in Business Administration degree in Accounting and her Master of Science degree in Marketing. Kristina is a 4th generation Aggie and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She will begin work as a business analyst at Aon-Hewitt in The Woodlands.

Jonathan is a 2006 graduate of Lockhart High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies with a concentration in Business, and minors in English and Communications from Texas A&M University in May 2011, where he worked as a member of the 12th Man Productions. He is employed as a Natural Gas Scheduler for Pacific Summit Energy in The Woodlands.
