Jessica Dawn Bye and Jacob Adam Morton were united in marriage on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at six o’clock in the evening at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. Reverend Jerry House of College Station officiated at the ceremony. Organist James Faith provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Teresa Bye of College Station. She is the granddaughter of Edward and Dawna Hancock of Franklin and Richard and Lorna Bye of Bryan.

The groom is the son of Gregg and Ann Morton of Round Rock. He is the grandson of Jane Morton and the late Paul Morton as well as Edna Hedgepeth and the late Jack Hedgepeth all of Springfield, Missouri.

Serving as the Maid of Honor was the bride’s friend, Maria Lazo of Snook. Serving as the Matron of Honor was the bride’s cousin, Amanda Roberts of Plano. Bridesmaids included the bride’s friend, Emily Tucker of Franklin, and the bride’s cousins, Lisa Fuller of Humble, Sarah Hancock of College Station, and Laura Rosenhagen of Pearland. Avery Rosenhagen of Pearland served as the flower girl. The bride’s friends Brittany Olsen, Lauren Parnell, and Kambree Beavers served as the House Party and scripture readers.

Standing with Jake as the Best Man was his friend, Mike Scott of Austin. Groomsmen were brothers, Mitch Morton of El Paso and Ben Morton of Austin, the bride’s brother, Jacob Bye of College Station, and the groom’s friend’s Joseph Bodish and Tyler Lundy of Houston. Ushers were Dwayne Macik of Snook and Ryan McConnico of Houston.

The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at the College Station Hilton.

Jessica is a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Health as well as a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse.

Jake is a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration and works for Rush Enterprises in Irving.

After a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, South Carolina, the couple resides in Irving, Texas.
