Wreck near Hearne leaves two dead

A three-vehicle accident just south of Hearne on Texas 6 left two dead Sunday afternoon. Three people walked away uninjured.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Roselyn Young, 26, of Hearne, was driving in the wrong lane at about 2:20 p.m.
Megan Avery of Houston swerved to avoid a head-on collision, and Young's vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Judith Franklin, 64, of College Station.
Franklin and Young died at the scene. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Avery and two passengers in her car were uninjured.
