Kick Up Fun Facts, the Bush Library's summer camp for children ages 7-11, offers a fun, exciting and educational experience. Campers can "pump up the action" by exploring all there is to know about having a healthy heart.

With "Insiders: Behind the Scenes," campers will get an inside look at the human body and learn what makes us work. Other themes include "Eat to Live or Live to Eat?," "Kick, Punt, Pass to a Better Future" and "Runways, Relays and Responsibility."

Half-day camps run June 6-July 1, and full-day camps (which include a free T-shirt) are July 11-August 12. Reservations are encouraged, and scholarships are available. For more information, contact Monica Lerma at 691-4006 or email bush.education@nara.gov.

As an expression of deep appreciation and admiration for the strength and leadership of president George Bush and first lady Barbara Bush, cancer-fighting organization C-Change has created an exhibit at the Bush Museum called "Conquering Cancer: A Commitment for the Ones We Love."

Viewers will learn about the tremendous progress made in cancer research, take away knowledge of how everyone can reduce cancer risk and be inspired to get personally involved in the fight.
