Chelsi Nicole West and Danny Wayne Bass were united in marriage on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bryan. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Monsignor John Malinowski and Father Patrick Ebner.  
The bride is the daughter of Howard and Geralyn West of Bryan.  The groom's parents are Troy and Karene Bass of Canyon.  Grandparents of the bride are Christine West and the late Walter West of Shepherd and Paul and Rose Ponzio of Bryan. Estis Bass and the late Zonah Bass and Dale and Laura Hart, all of Friona are the groom's grandparents.
The bride chose a strapless Angelina Faccenda asymmetrical dropped waist gown featuring a sweetheart neck line embellished with ruching on the bodice and flowers adorned by pearls at the hip, complemented by a chapel length veil.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents escorted by her father down the aisle.  Attending as maid of honor was Elise Baie, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly Wilmoth, Caroline Schrodt, Kristal Cline, and Janet Yen, friends of the bride. Ava Grace Wright, niece of the groom served as Flower Girl.
Serving the groom as best man was Dallas Bass, brother of the groom.  Groomsmen were Ryan Tatum, Bronson Stewart, Roy Finch, friends of the groom and Stephen Campbell,  cousin of the groom. The Ring Bearer was Carter Krupa, family friend of the bride.
During the ceremony, Melissa Wright, sister of the groom, and Eric Ponzio, cousin of the bride, gave readings from the Bible.  Elise Baie sang Ave Maria accompanied by Alex Hlavinka.  The bride's parents hosted a dinner reception at the Zone Club, Kyle Field following the ceremony.
On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Mr. G's Italian Pizzeria in Historic Downtown Bryan. On the day of the wedding the brides parents hosted a bridesmaid luncheon in their home.
The bride is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a degree in History and a Masters of Education.  She currently teaches at Foster High School in Richmond, Texas.
The groom is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Development.  He is currently a personal trainer at V3 Performance in Katy, Texas.
The newlyweds will return to their home in Richmond after ringing in the New Year on honeymoon in St. Lucia.
