Bishop-Kyser

Bubba and Leslie Bishop of Bryan, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, James Derek Bishop, to Meagan Janette Kyser, daughter of John and Danette Kyser, of Houston, Texas.
Derek is the grandson of Wallace D. Merchant and the late Bettie Merchant of Bryan, Texas and Bud and Nelda Bishop of Hearne, Texas.  He is a 2005 graduate of Bryan High School.  He continued his education by graduating from the TEEX Emergency Medical Technician Basic training course in June, 2009 and the TEEX Paramedic training course in November, 2009.  He then went on to graduate in June, 2010 from the TEEX Recruit Fire Training Academy Class #132.
Meagan is the granddaughter of Dane and Linda McKay and TM and Martha Kyser, all of Cypress, Texas.  She is a 2008 graduate of Cypress Creek High School.  She currently attends Texas A&M University where she will receive a Bachelors degree in Health Education in the summer of 2012.  Meagan will then continue her education by pursuing a degree in nursing.
Derek and Meagan will be united in marriage at the Cypress Chateau in Cypress, Texas on March 3, 2012 in a ceremony officiated by Leslie Boone.  Following a honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple will reside in Bryan.
