Heather Nicole Okonski, of Bryan, and Dustin Val Rasco, of Tomball, were united in marriage on Saturday October 8, 2011, at A&M United Methodist Church in College Station.  Rev. Kip Gilts officiated the double ring ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the families hosted an outdoor reception at Royalty Pecan Farms in Caldwell, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Sheila Okonski, both of Bryan and granddaughter of James and Marie Vavra, of Bryan, and Charlene Broome and the late Kie Okonski, of Bryan.
The groom is the son of Dyke and Susan Rasco, of Tomball and grandson of Faye Wier and the late Pete Wier, of Katy and Donald and the late Patricia Rasco, of Clute.
The bride wore a custom designed, handmade couture gown by Winnie Couture of Houston.  The ivory satin ruched bodice was complemented by Swarovski crystal accents and an embellished jeweled one shoulder strap. The full trumpeted skirt with asymmetrical gathers ended with a cathedral length train. The bride complemented the gown with a chapel length veil with embroidered jeweled border; and completed her ensemble with Swarovski crystal chandelier earrings and cuff bracelet given to her, by her mother.  The bride carried a grand cascading bouquet of solid white roses with an antique brooch given to her by the groom’s mother.
The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown chiffon trumpet style dresses with an elegant one-strap ruffle, as they carried a bouquet of jewel toned calla lilies, peonies, and roses wrapped in chocolate satin ribbon.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her father escorted her down the aisle. Attending as maid of honor was Adin Griffth, friend of the bride.  Bridesmaids included Taylor Johnson, friend of the bride, Heather Moore, friend of the bride, and Destinee Weatherford, cousin of the bride.  Kennedy Gutierrez, cousin of the bride was the flower girl, and Charlee Gutierrez, cousin of the bride, was a miniature bride in an exact replica of the bride's gown.  House Party included Lindsey Parr, sister of the groom, Morgan Hein, cousin of the bride, and Kristen Scott, friend of the bride.
Serving the groom was Best Man, Zachary Barger, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included, David Roberts, friend of the groom, Brian Belli, friend of the groom, and Chance Okonski, brother of the bride.  Ushers were Mason Hein, cousin of the bride, and Cody Bevan, friend of the couple.  Holden Parr, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Heather was a 2002 graduate of Bryan High and 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University.  She is currently an Associate Buyer for Charming Charlie in Houston, Texas.  Dustin is a 2004 graduate of Tomball High School and a 2009 graduate of California State University - Long Beach.  He is currently a Sales Coordinator at Mustang Cat in Houston.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, West Indies, the couple will reside in Tomball, Texas.
